You can also help us cross the finish line for the fourth Boys of Summer film by donating to our nonprofit, Yes, And...eXercise! Our goal is to have the film ready for Dan's 80th birthday which is also the 20th anniversary of when we left for the original two month, 20,000 mile road trip.

Running with Fox, Mice and the Cochranes

When Dad and I ran the Bay to Breakers in May 2022, we thought we'd done it all. We were on top the world - or at least the Hayes St. hill. Then Team Fox (Michael J. Fox Foundation) called and asked, what would you think about joining us in Orlando for the Walt DisneyWorld Marathon?

To be clear, they offered us the 5k, 10k, Half or Full marathon. Dad said, "Let's do the full!" As the guy pushing him I said, "Why not?"

On Jan. 8, 2023 we ran through DisneyWorld. The feed back was phenomenal! Check out just a few of the more than 3,000 responses on the Run Disney Facebook page below.

We are joined by Debbie Seger Woschitz on this episode of Your Daily Dose of Dopamine. She met Robert and his dad on the course of the Disney Marathon on Jan. 8, 2023. They immediately had a deep connection, which Debbie talks about here.

Below we've included a few comments from the RunDisney Facebook page. We received over 1700 reactions in less than 12 hours when we posted our story. This mirrored our experience on the course - beautiful community connections and support.

More than just what we did however, the value of the effort is in the impact it has on others. The article in the Daily Gazette tells the story of how fellow residents at Oakmont of Montecito shared and supported our efforts at DisneWorld by having a run of their own through the property on the same day nearly 3000 miles away.
